The Fort Leavenworth Veterinary Clinic offers routine vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, feline leukemia testing,
intestinal parasite testing and treatment, health care tips, limited sick call, diagnosis of zoonotic diseases, health certificates for travel,
flea and tick control products, microchip pet identifications and more. Remember, to enter the clinic, dogs must be on a leash and cats must be
in a carrier. Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed in the clinic. Pets are seen by appointment only. All animals (with the exception of caged birds and fish) kept on the installation must be registered with the Veterinary Clinic within five days
of arrival or acquisition. Lost or stray animals on Fort Leavenworth picked up by the MP's will be taken to the Veterinary Clinic stray facility. Owners have three working days
to claim their pet. After three working days, the animal becomes government property and may be adopted by a new family. Office Hours
